Theย Woodystock Blues and Brews always features some of the best national and regional names in blues and blues-rock, and 2023 is no exception. Saxophonist extraordinaireย Jimmy Carpenter, multiple Blues Music Award winner and Gulf Coast Records international touring artist, returns again this year, as do festival favorites, fiery guitaristย Jay Gordon and Blues Venomย and theย Sandy Haley Band,ย recently namedย aย ‘Top 100 Artist for 2022’ by influential magazineMusic Connectionย and fronted by soulful blues siren, Sandy Haley.ย Also returning to Woodystock: blues quartetย Catbone, andย Tiffany Lynnย singing the Star Spangled Banner. New to Woodystock this year: Los Angeles-basedย Kenny Williams and the Stomp Down Riders, fronted by colorful guitar virtuoso, Kenny “Big Daddy” Williams; and Phoenix, AZ’sย Until The Sun, female-fronted alt-blues/rock quartet whose newest release,ย A Night At The Rhythm Room,ย has received great reviews. Emcee again this year: Sanford Cohen fromย KXBB 101.7FM ‘Badass Blues.’

New for 2023: Festival goers will be able to purchase a variety of locally-brewed craft beers, includingย Copper Still Distillery, ‘Proudly Handcrafted in Lake Havasu Since 2018.’ Local food, clothing, and arts vendors will also be selling their goods at Woodystock again this year.
