CINEVEGAS CLUBHOUSE SHOT FILM WITH BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF LAS VEGAS WITH SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY WAYNE NEWTON
CineVegas Clubhouse shot the short film, “Where Da Girls At” with members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas. Las Vegas LEGEND Wayne Newton made a special appearance to give the kids tips about filming and performing.
CineVegas Clubhouse is a community outreach program in which local industry professionals teach the art of filmmaking to members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas. The five-week project teaches the children to create, write and star in their own short film, which will have a red carpet premiere at the 2009 CineVegas Film Festival in June with Festival Chairman, Dennis Hopper. I have to say, I really didn’t have any great expectations about Mr. Newton before this event but totally fell in like with him after this event. The love and care he extended to those kids was nothing short of amazing. What a guy Wayne, you are an angel. Now I understand why Mrs. Ellen Griswold had a crush on you in the film, “Vegas Vacation.” You totally rock!!!!

The always lovable insulting Rickles is still at it and going strong. How funny, is this man? Moreover, how does he continue to get away with his politically incorrect, rude, offensive, off color humor, while the audience including me begged for more. Don, you are one of a kind. Keep on making the world a funnier place, we need you.

When in the fab city of Vegas, do try to catch the Donny and Marie show. It is so wonderful and fun for every age. They are still on top of their game. The wholesome and talented brother sister act is fun, entertaining, and a joy to watch. There is singing, dancing, joking, and just one great show. “A little bit country and a little bit rock and roll”, continues on. By the way Marie, your opera segment blew me away…
The Jersey Boys
This show without a doubt deserves its best show on the strip title. Breaking records all over the world is legit. It is phenomenally entertaining and one of the best Broadway shows I have ever seen and I have seen them all. I think it was especially wonderful here in Vegas. RUN to see the Jersey Boys. It is, “Just too good to be true!” Bravo Frankie Valli!
Flavor Flav Celebrated His 50th Birthday at JET Nightclub at The Mirage
Reality television star of VH1’s “Flavor of Love” and former member of hip-hop group, Public Enemy, Flavor Flav turned 50 with a blowout birthday bash at JET Nightclub. Flav rocked the house with his party spirit shouting out, “Yeah boy!” and carried on with his clowning antics. Strange he is, very strange… I mean really strange…………….
