This Article Is Written By 2 Authors : The Blonde and the BrunetteFor those of you who don’t already know, (most likely because you don’t have teenage girls with raging hormones living at home), The Jonas Brothers Movie opened this weekend. There have been some very lucky teens that filled selected theaters throughout the country this week who have had an unexpected dream come true. A very rare surprise opportunity to see their current heartthrobs, right in front of their drooling and crying eyes. The girls went wild March First at the Rave Theater in Las Vegas when they learned (from the local Midday Mix show 98.5 KLUC DJ’s Yung Jon Que and Pumi, who welcomed the audience), that their music and movie idols made a special trip just to see them personally. The last time we heard screaming like this was when, well actually, we never heard screaming like this. The teens couldn’t be happier awaiting the arrival of the bros… So why then were they all crying? Just then, before we could figure out the answer, they appeared, Joe, Nick and Kevin!! The young crowd was screaming out of control, the floor was shaking, and within minutes, a herd of teen girls started jumping out of their seats and heading towards the front of the theater to touch the brothers. Unfortunately, almost as fast as they had appeared, their body guards rushed them out of harms way, leaving several of their fans disappointed and feeling they had missed a great opportunity to spends a few more minutes live with these young hunky stars. |
The Blonde: I will never understand teenagers. All that screaming and crying and pining away and………….
The Brunette: Oh please, you were doing the same screaming and crying watching Hugh Jackman at the Oscars! Besides, wasn’t that you running and leading the teens to the brothers for your touch?
The Blonde: Never mind! I feel your pain girls!
Three fourteen year old girls, Taylor, Laekyn, and Mackensie heard that the secret that the Jonas Brothers were coming and dressed up for the miracle chance to meet them. When asked which one was their favorite brother, one admitted they were in love with Joe, while the other admitted it was Nick and the third admitted she was in love with all three. Their favorite song, one of the Jonas Brothers first, “Burnin Up”.
The Blonde: Well…My favorite is Paul McCartney
The Brunette: Are you OK? We are talking about the Jonas Brothers.
The Blonde: Oh, no wonder they looked nothing like the Beatles! Continue on…
Two fans, Cristina (16) and Shawna (18) sobbed uncontrollably, and we do mean uncontrollably, after the Jonas Brothers had left. You would have thought Starbucks had closed all their doors, Pizza had been made illegal or Ben and Jerry’s went bust or something. They shared with us that they had waited their whole lives for this chance and couldn’t understand why the boys were wisked off so quickly. I don’t know, death by teenage girls might have had something to do with it, don’t ya think? However, being able to see them up close was something Cristina and Shawna would share with their friends and families for years to come. Oh let’s be perfectly honest here, they will be bragging about this lucky break forever. Who wouldn’t!
The fans took their seats and just before the movie began, the 3D glasses came out and lined the faces of every kid in the audience to get the “full” movie experience. This event was no doubt totally awesome and generous of the Jonas Brothers to do for their fans. This will truly be the best, most memorable movie experience, this and all the other audiences around the country who get to be a part of the, “Jonas Brothers SURPRISE THEATER INVASION tour” (a cross-country, multi-city trip to surprise their fans in theaters nationwide) will ever have in their lives…
Stay tuned as the Disney channel will be bringing the Jonas Brothers out this year in a comedy called J.O.N.A.S.
The Blonde: Hey Brunette are Starbucks, Ben and Jerry’s and pizza really going away??
The Brunette: ????
